Kain takes the southern docks to know where the Hylden City is. A guy asked everyone to turn on the lighthouses before the ship can sail again.

Umah began to realize that she dies by pretend that she is strong enough to fight, but she was too weak and wounded. Kain killed Umah for the Nexus Stone taken from Kain and her betrayal about the Sarafan Lord.

idiot. She stole the Stone to take on the Lord herself. She fears Kain will rule no better than the Hylden Lord did, and she figured if she can destroy the Lord herself, she can make Kain see hwat really matters: giving Nosgoth back to the Vampires, not kain conquering it for himself

I am guessing that the Sarafan Lord used Meridian's Industrial Quarter to manufacter Glyph Magik and used the Wharves to transported safely to the Hylden City and using it, too, to power The Device/The Mass. Ha, it looks like Kain and Umah are now enemies since Umah betrayed him, stole the Nexus Stone and fled like a scared fledgling.
