This is one of my all time favourite PSB songs. The new stuff just can't touch this in my mind. But why was it never released as a single?? Definitely one of the best tracks on their Actually album in my opinion...

Yes, Ennio Morricone - Le Marginal movie with JP Belmondo, check the soundtrack, track is named "Forecast"

The melody of the refrain was composed by Ennio Morricone, and Angelo Badalementi made the string arrangement. The verses are all by the Pet Shop Boys, and lyrics too.
I think Morricone made something very similar to the chorus of his old "Il Était une Fois la Révolution".

My favourite bits from this movie are when Chris dressed up as a female fortune -teller and when he abused the doll in the car when Neil was trying to make a car deal...
