Shocking Police brutality on war Hero!

These shameful and inexcusable scenes show a war hero who served his country in Iraq and Afghanistan fearing for his life amid a violent and unprovoked assault by police.

Lance Corporal Mark Aspinall - highly praised by his commanding officer for bravery against the Taliban in Afghanistan - was set upon by three uniformed officers on his home town High Street.

The sickening attack - caught in forensic detail on CCTV - led a crown court judge to label it one of the worst examples of police aggression he had ever seen. Yet, in a travesty of justice, it was MARK who was at first convicted by magistrates of attacking the policemen.. despite the video footage clearly showing he was the victim.

Last night, Mark, 24, who had 14 head and face injuries, said: "I was scared for my life. I was being battered and my head was being pushed into the ground.

"I remember thinking, 'I'm going to die here. I can't believe I've survived Afghanistan and Iraq and and now I'm going to die on this main road in my home town at the hands of the police'.

"Yet I was the one who ended up in the dock, not the officers."

Mark was convicted by magistrates of two counts of police assault - and his ordeal only ended when Crown Court judge John Phipps watched the damning footage and quashed the verdict on appeal.

He said: "I am shocked and appalled at the level of police violence shown here", adding that he had "great concerns" about the footage and effectively branding the policemen liars by saying: "I would go as far as to say the statements (by the officers) contain untruths."

The nine-minute video, which can be seen at shows PC Peter Lightfoot punching Mark eight times.

Dont worry folks, thanks to the CCTV footage the 20 stone PC Lightfoot was brought to trial and given 2 years in prison and booted out of the police force, he is now squeeling like a piggy in some dark prison while the othet lags gang bang him.ha ha ha

I'M SORRY you are NOT a war hero.. your job is to uphold the consititution not just take orders based on lies.. weather he is a WAR veteran or NOT this police action is uncalled for, ask him where the weapons of mass destruction are..did he find any in Iraq??

@2rottenn Sorry I got that wrong, he was sentenced to a total of three years not two at his original trial, two years for assault and one year for perjury, he later appealed and had his sentenced reduced by one third so he got two years altogether, this was quite a while ago, was it more than two years ago? He might well be out by now so you may be right but he was certainly punished for his actions with a prison term and kicked out the police force.

So this is what European police forces use in lue of firearms... brutally beating war heroes to instill their lack of respect or fear for any many or woman who isn't also hiding behind their badge and governmental work status as they are. These three asshats probably spent their high school lives picking on 9th graders & stealing lunch money, being assholes and becoming police so they could continue a life of harassment with the added benefit of a hefty paycheck every week.
