Your Profession of Faith

On video, in English words, Latin singing (St. Pius V Choir), and pictures.

THE NICENE CREED
I Believe in one God, the Father Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth, and of all things visible and invisible. And in one Lord Jesus Christ, the Only-Begotten Son of God. Born of the Father before all ages. God of God; Light of Light; true God of true God. Begotten not made; of one being with the Father; by Whom all things were made. Who for us men, and for our salvation came down from heaven. And was made flesh by the Holy Ghost of the Virgin Mary: AND WAS MADE MAN. He was also crucified for us, suffered under Pontius Pilate and was buried. And on the third day He rose again according to the Scriptures. And ascending into heaven, He sitteth at the right hand of the Father. And He shall come again in glory to judge the living and the dead; and of His kingdom there shall be no end. And I believe in the Holy Ghost, Lord and Giver of life, Who proceeds from the Father and the Son. Who together with the Father and the Son is no less adored, and glorified: Who spoke by the Prophets. And I believe in One, Holy, Catholic and Apostolic Church. I confess one Baptism for the remission of sins. And I look for the resurrection of the dead. And the life of the world to come. Amen.

  • Actually the Apostle creed is half the size as this creed. The Apostle Creed was made up by Our Lady of the Rosary and the Church. The Nicene Creed was inspired by the Holy Ghost to Holy Mother Church.

  • One beautiful thing about the Catholic Church:

You could go to a Church in Mexico, China, Italy, America and Ireland and the words would be the same. Languages may differ, and dialects may differ, but the words are the same.

    Truly universal.

  • Thank you for this video. I love the beautiful traditional pictures. I also love prayers to be sung in Latin, especially Gregorian Chant.

    Peace and God bless.

  • @Westyrulz What is the point of going to Mass? IF we made a list... the language used to pray it, will be very low on it. Except for human preference, it wouldn't even show up on that list. Focus on the point of the Mass. The reason we go. To sit with Jesus. To receive Jesus. To worship and thank Jesus. To Love Jesus. For His strength to get us to heaven... Everyone has there preference ( I love English Mass!, I grew up with Latin) But its all the same: To God. :)

  • @Holly3278 Everything good, is inspired by the supreme being of good, who is God :)

  • @Dr0Truth I never found language such a big deal. The language of our heart is what truly matters when we pray. Mass in The Catholic Church is Beautiful in Latin, English, Spanish... any language of man, because God Speaks the same language to all hearts. His language is TRULY universal

  • @SHJ31990 You know, I have no idea if the Apostles' Creed was inspired by God or not but I do know that it has much Truth. Therefore, regardless of whether it was "made up" or not, it is still a wonderful document.

  • @1Hope4All I agree. Gregorian Chant is quite beautiful. :)

  • @Dr0Truth :-)

  • @Dr0Truth its not just the catholic church also presbyterian lutheran methodist etc...

  • Everyone needs to know about three youtubes that changes everything.

The are called Jeff Fisher adresses the world 3 & Jeff Fisher addresses the world part one & one by a named Molindo called Jesus Forever Love

Listen to them read all comments.

Its a joy to know that God is not going to destroy us in 2012 & I am so thankful to Jesus for his two children Gabriel & Jana whom are now Jeffrey Jay Fisher & Jane Marlin Bowell & America's bright peace future with Ron Paul & Dennis Kucinich

  • enough of the "in-house" fighting "whos right wrong"...all the while them Muslims take over England and France. So there is no need for Christians fighting in the house of G-d over who's right and wrong. We are ALL one in Christ, born of Gd. The Lord is peace.

  • Thats what my old man said.He was against moving away from the Latin Mass.
