This is my grandmother's 1981 Pontiac parisienne 4 door sedan. It has a gutsy 305 that really makes you first off the light.

  • I had an '81 Bonneville (USA version of the Parisienne). Same color. The only difference was that in had the wire wheel covers. A great car. It would have been better as a Brougham.

  • @Mackinac359 The Brougham would for sure be great. I have the stickers, but idk if i want to put them on or not. The car now has the wire wheel covers, i bought them NOS for $20.00 each

  • How the hell do you pronounce Parisienne cause I feel like a retard.

  • @markkjay, its pronounced pair-easy-n-

  • that car looks very well cared for. it's nice to see people actually care about their cars!

  • yeah. i was looking at the receipts from maintenance, and gramma even took it to the dealer to be waxed!

  • @11paterj

Bring in an actual Canadian Pontiac intern about this, please.

  • absolutely beautiful car. That paint is very nice. Glad to see it survived all the years. Keep her going

  • Would any of you be hankering for a 1981 Bonneville/Parisienne Safari Diesel wagon these days? My maternal grandparents had one (the Bonneville Safari) for a short time in the early 1990s. The diesel is an Oldsmobile 5.7L unit which was not generally well-received.

  • @Mackinac359 , disco-ish,, yes.. I have cloth green interior..lol but i'ts like sitting on a pillow couch. I still like the 80 style grille better.

  • nice car skyhill anyone hahaha

  • $20 a wheel is a steal !

  • 80 and '81 had different grilles and woodgrain on the dash. '81 had an inlaid design in the woodgrain. The fabrics were different too. '81 was a bit classier. The '80 interior was almost disco-ish on some Parisienne/Bonnevilles.

  • Beautiful car Grandmas alwasy have the best cars!
