Before Rusty Eye there was a Death Metal side project named Opus Death that recorded a 4 song demo named "Welcome to Eternal Suffering". The project was over when Rusty Eye was founded in 1995 and the original demo got lost. Every now and then Rusty Eye plays Opus Dei.

Opus Dei is Latin for "The Work of God" and it's also the name of an international Catholic group.
