I watched in amazement for more than 20 minutes as innumerable blackbirds came to roost in Shelby Farms Park just east of Catchem lake in Memphis. A sight worth taking the time to see. Show starts about 4:30 pm daily and lasts about 30 minutes and is expected to continue through February. (Amazingly impressive even though cloudy skies made for reduced video quality.) [Sunday, December 5, 2010 (after the grand opening of the Wolf River Pedestrian/Bicycle Bridge)]
I seen this when i was in memphis. In the car from a distance i said "whats that big black cloud and why is it moving like that?" closer we got i seen it was birds.
