this was filmed in Vancouver, BC, She co-stars with Steve Coogan and Molly Shannon. Set in the eighties, Lucy is a reporter who becomes involved within the lives of some students in a small town. The production recently wrapped. If it is also called Gerta, it was called Safety Glass here.

To everyone. I was out driving around one afternoon and came across this set. The movie is titled, "Safety Glass". It was filmed in and around Vancouver, B.C. Canada. The movie is a period piece. Check it out on IMDB. That is Hilary Duff. The set security would not let me get closer. It is not the movie Greta. That movie was filmed on the East Coast of the US. This is filmed on the West Coast of Canada.

I remember a lot of them were jerks. And yeah, sometimes we weren't allowed to get to our lockers to get our stuff...but I don't remember there ever being a time when everyone had to get out of school lol. Mostly they would just tell us not to stick around to get a photo with Hilary or get her autograph because she was busy.

i use to atttend John Oliver Secondary at Vancouver B.c and i have to say she wasn't at all nice to the students their. the workers somehow had the right to cover peoples lockers and wouldn't let them get their books or stuff. we couldn't walk throw the halls and made us leave the school after 3:20. my friends always hang out at the school till 4 but when they came it was like the law not to be their anymore while they were their.myfriends got photos from her phone camera but had to delete them

I am soooo undecided on whether this is Greta or Safety Glass... I just posted it in the forums on Hilary's fan club, so I will see what people on there think... After all, we have been getting news and videos about Hilary's projects for a long time now, plus we get all of the exclusive photos, so they showed the set a lot when she was filming both these films. But to me, it does look quite a lot like the set of Greta, not Safety Glass... I could be wrong, but still =]
