@bi123ish kristen and nikki were not originally friends. nikki is good friends with TwiDirector Catherine hardwicke and michael angarano and they worked in the movie Lords of Dogtown in 2005. Nikki did not audition for her role as Rosalie and was just casted by Catherine. nothing romantic really happened between Rob and Nikki and the "dates" were mostly composed of the rest of the twilight cast minus Kristen who was still a minor that time plus her admission of dating with Michael.

@bi123ish heard the same thing, and i think it sounds logical, nikki was bff with kristen, and suddenly when all the robsten rumors started, they didn´t seem like friends anymore, maybe that´s why nikki said recently that ¨not all twilight cast are best friends¨but,i think everything turned out better for them,she got married and he and kristen are rumored to live together (plus 2 years of relashionship)besides nikki didn´t invite any of her castmates, maybe because they are so close to robsten

There are rumors that says that Nikki and Rob were dating till Kristen and Angarano broke up, then Rob broke up with Nikki and start dating with Kris. I dont know, maybe it's true, I mean, when Kristen were dating with Angarano, Nikki and Kris looked like very closed best friends but then after Kristen's broke up they've never seen toguether as friends (holding hands for ex) again.
