In this clip from my retreat for writer-speakers in 2008, I talk about what it takes to be a great speaker. It's got nothing to do with how you "look". It's all about your message: making sure the people in your audience get what you need to tell them. I also demonstrate how the need for your message to be understood will always guide you and make you gripping as a speaker.

Thank you for your books, Barbara! I love the activities. I've always said my problem is that I CAN DO anything (fast learner), but I don't know what I WANT to do. That's how someone handed me Wishcraft. I ended up living and teaching in Japan for 6 years! I'm now back in the US, married and took a break (they are now 10 and 12!) and am going through the Anything book and now I'm writing a children's book and awaiting your scanner book in the mail! I've learned a lot!! Thanks a million!
