  • When I paste, all I get is a box FULL of the background color, the sprite i copied is not there

  • Yeah, that happens with some sprite sheets. I still haven't figured out why. If you copy the sprite from the sheet to a blank Paint document and then copy it from the blank document to GIMP it should work.

  • I learned something new about gimp and paint. I always use the select by color, or fuzzy select tool, but color erase is something I'm gonna try as well for removing backgrounds.

  • It's always good to watch other people work in GIMP, they do things differently and you might just learn something, like in this case. :D

  • Well just keep following my videos. I'm going to come up with a couple more videos to follow up on this. You should watch my others and leave plenty of comments. That's what I'm going for. And ratings and subscribers too.
