Respect! His high note seems clearer and more beautiful now than in his younger days. He must have worked to "get there".

How come the uvular R? (I thought only Raoul Jobin used to do that.) Ça fait un peu cabaret, n'est-ce pas? (But apart from that -- and a bit of fashionable but grating frequency crank-up aspiring to betoken expressivity -- not bad at all.)

@saagua1953 Sorry for the late reply. I agree with your statement. On the record I can hear Jonas Kaufmann using falsetto, but I am excited to hear which live option he takes in the next weeks :). Anyway i think Roberto Alagna matches this aria really good, I like it. Greetings.
