This is my Great Grandpa. I drew this as a gift for my Grandmas 93rd birthday which was yesterday. I used Conte Crayons again but included a blue color for the eyes. I hope you all like it!

Hi Mary - Grandpa died when I was 11 - I was in the house at the time and remember if vividly. But I also remember vividly what a wonderful grandpa he was. He loved spending time with us kids. He took walks with us in the woods, teaching us to whittle whistles from birch branches. He always had a little bag of licorice nibs for me, and it is still one of my favorite candies. What a gentle man he was.

Mary, I watched this several times. You do not know how moving it is for me to see my Grandpa Wagstaff's face appear under your hands !
