These little guys are wondering around in the soil of my orchid .
The largest individuals are about 1mm long .
This was filmed with my sony camcorder and a reversed nikon enlarger lens as close up lens .

  • @dreadfulcreation

I knew keeping the sound in this video wasn't the best idea .

That's the watering can you hear .

  • What happened to the orchid? Is it still OK? I've found these creatures in black, slowly decaying, central part of my plant, they are hiding inside small holes there and I'm now waiting if they are going to eat second orchid. I hope they just decompose already dead parts of plants.

  • @pavelp80

My orchids are still doing fine .These little guy eat decayed plant material .

    Thanks for asking though .

  • @mijnvideos how do I attract them to my house? I need to get a culture of these to feed some toadlets(newly morphed tadpoles of toads).

  • FINALLY! I have these on my Orchid too. I had them in my Bonsai tree and got rid fo them but that was easy to re-pot. I'm so scared they are gonna damage my Orchid as I really look after it and am so proud of it! Did you just leave yours? have you noticed any difference in your Orchids health? If you did get rid of them...how?! Thanks x

  • @mijnvideos I watched their video.. Was somewhat helpfull. But not what I was looking for. What Iam looking for is---- how to get them to come to my house. So I can catch them all and breed them for my soon to be baby toads.

  • aw they're so cute :O

  • @mijnvideos Thank you
