I believe I have not seen you in a while, PJT. I also agree with you on the add-on part, and never knew you also played Orbiter.

Just curious, how do you think MS is limited? Scenery wise MSFS covers the world, with the ability to overlay higher detailed scenery on top. Aircraft, it can simulate pretty much anything except trains, and they are making a train simulator based on the same platform now. Environmental effects are endless both freeware and payware, and aircraft are very detailed. With the ability to add functionality that it doesn't already have through dll modules. So how is this limiting?

There of thousands of freeware addons fr FS9 and FSX, so other than the sim itself, it's not necessary to send any more money on it. (Avsim has over 132.8K freeware addon packages available) If your not interested in high detail, turn the settings down, and it will still be higher detailed than your other "freeware sims". If you want like me higher detail addons to make the experience more realistic, then you have that choice as well.

One. you make it sound like I don't like MFSX. I like it. I use it. However In the case of Orbiter Space sim I rather enjoy th concept of flying a XR2 From Cpe Canarveral and flying to the moon. Or In YS flight Completly Recreating the Ace Combat Expereince. Microsoft sims have many Addons Yes some are free. However Sa YS flight has more addons reelased in a month than MFS has ever had made. Ranging from Tradional aircraft to Insane things like Mechs and VT's
