  • @ee01239 We live in exciting times. It took Homo sapiens ~200,000yrs to figure out the Earth was round. Another couple of thousand to find that the Earth orbits the sun. 300 more to work out basic celestial mechanics. Another 150 to discover that our galaxy wasn't the entire universe. But today, videos really need to come with a "Best when viewed by" freshness date. & all because the scientific method allows us to stand upon the shoulders of giants. Sometimes we forget what a privilege that is.

  • @sbergman27 Agree I was like what the hell we already know that the universe is expanding with in an accelerated manner, so big crunch is out of question unless a new effect is set into motion, very unlikely of course cheers

  • LOL, the lady at the end has difficulty thinking in 3D. Maybe she should get help from a draftsman/CAD user, or an artist/illustrator...

Although I'm biased in that I think in 3D very simply... I understand though that some people have difficulty doing so, though I don't see why/how.

  • This documentary is somewhat out of date. Only a year after its publication, we discovered that the Universe is not only expanding, but the rate of expansion is *increasing*. Dark matter is no longer about the fate of the Universe, but about explaining the structure of galaxies. Dark Energy is now the about the fate of the Universe. We also now know that neutrinos have a small mass... but we don't know exactly what it is. Probably around 1.5ev. This will hopefully be settled by the end of 2015.

  • I have a slightly biased interest here, but why is it necessary that Frenk's son was included in this...

  • wow very interesting inference.

  • exactly

  • Lmao, that gave me the urge to chuckle, and then I did.
