  • try tuning it.

  • Sold it back in the summer.

  • great demo, but the cs80 overshadows it so much in every department. This is reflected in the second hand prices. I know that VERY RECENTLY, one went fully restored and KSR'D for 15000 pounds. I almost puked in shock.

  • I bet most of the CS-50's & 60's are being gutted to keep CS-80's alive. I thought the one on eBay for $15K USD was insane, $15K quid is just plain stupid!

  • This sounds really close to the Alesis Andromeda

@thermalmaximum hahaha hell no hahaha .. or maybe you really don't hear difference :S dam

  • It would sound much much better if the player warmed it up before shooting this video.

  • This sounds really close to the Alesis Andromeda (or vice versa). With the prices people are talking about here, get an A6 and you'll have that sound without the giant hole in your bank account.

  • @zibbybone How much did you sell yours for? I have one myself and am interested in its worth. also that setting at 1:22 is unreal.

  • To get a CS80 sound on a CS60, simply add a symphonic chorus, since the best CS80 sounds are simply the same patch on its upper and lower layers slightly detuned. I had a CS80 which certainly had tune and span problems, my CS60 seems OK though and I quite like the Arturia software. Yamaha's AN1X does good CS80 noises too. See my book "Analog Synthesizers" on Amazon for more thoughts. Mark Jenkins dot co

  • @TheSYNTHOID Arturia is all you need if you're going to play presets; if you need something that "behaves" like a CS, you'll need a CS ;-)

  • @noddyspuncture Hey, I'm not saying it's the best soft-synth (that place belongs to XILS Lab's "PolyKB") I'm just saying that it gets the job done.... for me.

  • @offthelinegt CS80 tuning issues are *overblown*... I have two of them... one upstairs and one down. They never get moved, and they only need tuning every few years, and that's just a tweak!

  • @TheSYNTHOID wrote: "In the end, Arturia is all I need..." Oh Dear...;c)...!
