Could you forgive a person who murdered your family? This is the question faced by the subjects of As We Forgive, the student Academy Award winning documentary about two Rwandan women coming face-to-face with the men who slaughtered their families during the 1994 genocide. Struggling to live again as neighbors, these survivors and killers discover the power and the pain of radical reconciliation.

its definitely possible, and im sure there are those that have no regrets and still don't care what they did. i would like to think at least some of them would have learned from the suffering they caused others. its not much different then how regular soldiers may have PTSD and can never forget people they may have killed.

if they reveled in the killings still, they wouldnt feel guilt now would they? pretty sad if the people who's family members were killed can forgive the murderers but some numb nuts on his computer on the other side of the world who wasn't effected cant understand.
