Hahaha and who makes that conclusion you? Phoenicians are not their own race you buffoon. There are a different ethnicity just like other ethncities in the middle east. Being called what type of Jew? There are different types of Jews e.g., Ashkenazi Jews, Sephardi Jew, Indian Jews, Chinese Jews, African Jews, etc.

Excuse me, are you Lebanese? My grandfather, or Ghiddi, as we called him, was 100% Lebanese, and besides his knowledge he shared, and having a definitive book on the history of the Maronites, it can be concluded that Phoenicians are their own race, and distinctly different from any other group of people in the middle east. I deal with being called Jewish, and asked If I am sure I am not jewish, people are ignorant. We are PHOENICIAN, people of the sea, we are more close to greeks or armenians

patrickblake: Some Lebanese accept the Arab identity, some don't. Lebanon is considered 95% Arab. Why are you talking about looks? Arab is not a race, it's a pan-ethnicity; which consist of different races, religious backgrounds, and ethnicities all in one.
