Thats exactly what they the rich would love to do to us...Keep us only around for 30 years and get rid of the excess. BS we are not meant to live in any Diostopic world..We are made to be free even if you die at 90 years of age but you die naturally. Not in some BS man made idea of death..

@rahkia27 They're making a real remake of this movie in case you didn't know. It's scheduled to come out 2014. But I don't think "In Time" was anywhere close to "Logan's Run". For one thing, I think Logan's Run was post-apocalyptic. It was cool in the fact you couldn't tell what year it was. Kinda like Star Wars almost, which took place before the human race even existed if I remember right.

@rahkia27 In Time was good but it's not at all the same. People can live as long as they make enough money. It's different than Logan's Run, where everyone dies when they're 30 no matter what, unless they run and get away. It's at least more fair in Logan's Run in a sense. There wasn't even any indication of money used in Logan's Run.

I completely disagree with anyone saying the movie's dated. The plot and the acting are that strong, and the ideas that challenging, that it goes down as nothing short of a classic of dystopian science fiction. That, and the fact that Jenny Agutter is beautiful enough to to make my eyes ache!!!
