Gravity field in Maya tutorial

Just a little tutorial I did for a friend on gravity fields and the fun it is! Sorta the blind leading the blind.

to tell you honestly, your tutorial isn't very consistent and quite hard to follow. you changed your UI as suppose to the default user interface. that's why we're having a hard time locating the specific menu that you were talking about. in conclusion, your tutorial sucked hard... (not that i wanted to put you down, but at least conform to the default interface for fast referencing)

P.S: can we hook up? i really liked the sound of your bedroom voice. :-P

I wish everyone who made maya video tutorials had such a nice, calm, soothing voice to listen to - makes the experience much more enjoyable :-)

documents -> maya -> 2008(in mine) -> delete "prefs"

It has something to do with the gravity field name matching up with the object. It worked before. If I click on sphere and go to the gravity field option box, I can type the name of the field, but it always adds something to the name.

On your tutorial, when you say you're connecting the gravity field to the sphere, it looks like you're not doing anything. You just say, ok "next"...

Do you know how I can just reset the original settings?
