I'm using the kinect to create a real time video game performance environment for my music project, 000000swan.

We are using a hacked kinect in a way that no one else is; we are not using skeleton tracking but gesture recognition using machine learning. We are teaching the computer to associate gestures with graphics. The computer moves graphics in a 3d real time game engine based on the position of my body.
