@TomGarn : Dude, why do you compare? Even if they speak the same thing, what matters is does this old man (Paul) has truly understood what he is saying or not? If yes, then doesn't matter who said this earlier than him; Its his now! Isn't it?
Do you think Osho gave completely new ideas? Think again!
New ideas (if they can be called so) are build based on the existing knowledge and thus are never really new! what matters is NOT if it is new or old BUT weather it makes sense or not !

a very interesting point, ive had this feeling taint some experiences before, and it's nice to have someone articulate it nicely like this. one can become attached to ideologies and ideas and spiritualities too, and when that happens they cease to 'vibrate' constructively towards your path - they just stop providing you with strength.
