That is what a good teacher can help you do. Not an average teacher, a GOOD one, there is WAY to many self-proclaimed experts out there who really are amateurs! Way to many teachers with thoughts and ideas on how things should or could be done without the real-life experience on what actually WORKS. Don't let them waste your precious time (and money!)

I am the guy who will never feed you nonsense! I have been playing professionally since -94, in all styles and all settings you could imagine, I have real-life experience. But don't take my word for it, do a search on YouTube for my name, or visit my website, and listen to how I play. If you don't like what you hear, LEAVE RIGHT NOW, why on earth would you want to learn from me then? (I encourage you to put all online guitar teachers to this test -- if you don't immediately dig how they play, LEAVE!)

If you DO like what you hear (I hope so..), do stay, and I promise you this:

1. Everything I'll teach you on this site is stuff I actually have practiced and found useful myself. NO useless exercises!

2. I will tell you all my secrets! Any technique or concept I have discovered, developed or made up, I will show you! My hope is that you check out what I do, develop it in the direction that suits you, and MAKE IT YOUR OWN!

3. While it is true that getting good requires a lot of work, you can, and you SHOULD, have FUN while doing the "work". My lessons will show you how to develop your own creativity with simple, well explained tools. Many of them will take two minutes to learn, but a lifetime to master, and it is the mastering process that is so rewarding, you'll see!

Who am I??
well, I guess I'm your regular music freak... I'm fanatically into music that moves me, I live for those moments when music really takes me on a journey. I've spent thousands of hours with my guitar, and without, trying to figure out how I can create those moments, it's not easy, but once in a while I think I get it right..

Besides that, I am a 35-year-old guy who lives in Bergen, Norway, with my girlfriend Line, our dog Sam and soon also our baby boy, whose name is still a secret.. :-)

Cool lesson, you are very good! Quite something to do the sweeping on an acoustic :p What guitar is that and more importantly what are you using to amplify the sound, I think a combination of a magnetic pickup and a mic?

@Foodie88 Yeah, it's a Seymor Duncan Mag-mic, both magnetic and regular mic. All piezos should be thrown at sea!
