Christopher Hanley was attending a breakfast conference sponsored by Risk Waters Group at Windows on the World located on the 106th floor of 1 World Trade Center the morning of September 11, 2001. Minutes after American Airlines Flight 11 struck the 93rd-97th floors of 1 World Trade, Hanley managed to dial 9-1-1 to report the explosion and that smoke was already coming up from outside the windows. The second photograph shown in this video was actually taken at 'Windows on the World' 106th Floor that morning and shows Christopher Hanley (on the left) talking to another conference guest William "Bill" Kelly Jr. The photographer who took the picture left the building just before the plane struck the tower. Hanley also reported during the call that they "can't get down the stairs" which is true because the plane cut through all 3 emergency stairwells meaning from the moment of collision, everybody on the 92nd floor up has no chance of escape. The estimated number of people trapped on the 92nd floor up to the 107th floor was at around 1,300. Both Christopher Hanley and Bill Kelly did not survive. Rest In Peace. WE WILL NEVER FORGET.
