@ktdid2000 Wow, neat! Part of the reason I love this game is because it's seems so representative of this particular era in Japanese youth culture. Do you know all the dances then?

yes I totally agree, Im so obsessed i'm using it to build my biceps and triceps ahah!

There's one of these machines in my area and I've just begun getting the hang of it, but I have a question. You're doing a lot of really cool moves and stuff. Do you just learn each level/song really well and coordinate your own moves to it? Or is the ParaParaParadise game coordinated to match real parapara dances that are well known? Or do you just make up your own moves on the spot?

@KawaiikuteMonster Yup, each song has it's own choreography. I learned from DVDs/VCD's I bought back in the day, but you can usually find them online somewhere. The game uses the 'official' choreography, so while there's no reason you can't make up your own dances to hit the arrows, if you perform the official routine you'll hit the arrows even without looking at the screen (which is what I was doing).

Aww that's so sad...I <3 Para Para, man I'm obsessed, played too much today, now I'm tired like hell. Haha =) Well you can always still practice your skills with online videos or something ^_^

@AzileKurayami Actually I've moved away from the game the past 5 years to all the DVDs that come out of Avex's new para stuff. Plus I have the game for home too, so that helps! :) It's too easy to become para obsessed!

We have PPP at almost every arcade in every mall in my country. Does yours have Freestyle mode? We usually play Freestyle here only. And did you get a full combo on that when you're not looking at the screen?

@AzileKurayami I have no idea if I got a full combo or not since I was turned around backwards the entire time. Probably not, but I blame that on the sensors since you have to hit it pretty much spot on with each move, which leaves no room for you to do your "thing". ;) We have almost no Para Para machines in the USA anymore...there are a few hanging around in California I think. This machine used to be in Orlando but it's gone now :(
