Event Caricatures by Wag - 1.5 and 3.5 minutes

The first caricature here was drawn about as slowly as I ever do them--but still pretty fast at about 3.5 minutes. It can really slow things down when the model keeps turning their head or looking down or away, as this one did at first. The second drawing was closer to my usual speed, at about 1.45 minutes.

Charles Schulz, Dr. Seuss, most political cartoonists draw with "wobbly" lines. The Anal Retentive School of drawing that currently prevails among young wannabee cartoonists and caricaturists is the result of the bastardization of the art form by commercialism.

I guess the main thing is not to worry too much about drawing a wobbly line, eh? I'm usually too precise which takes too much time and doesn't look very funny ^_^'
