Amazing that you can have the vibrato on certain keyboard manuals and other other one with no effects. No keyboard in the world could take the place of a real organ! I saw another You Tube video as there was a Lowrey Prestige in base ball satdium being used as I was amazed that they did not buy a Hammond/Suzuki. A real organ is not a Hammond organ, according to AGO Standards. Sadly, everyone thinks a Hammond is a real organ.

I love your technique and registrations! I have a 321B. Is that your 340? What year was it made? Did you add anything?

A Rodgers Theater Organ was installed in Madison Square Garden when it opened in 1968 and the sound quality was poor as it came through the PA system. It was replaced in 1978 with a Hammond and upgraded sound system. Organ music was discontinued after the 1986 hockey season. A keyboard has been in use since 1988 not as good as an organ but better than blaring canned music

@The2010SnowDay Yes, if you take a close look, the accompaniment manual does have second touch, used a couple of times in this video. most Rodgers i know of have second touch.

Mighty fine playing!

Two questions: Does this organ have 2nd touch, and are there any classical sounds?

Someone here in Ohio- Cleveland AAMOOF ( alright, it's 'as a matter of fact'), has one spiffy little gem of a Rogers, not to say a roger of a GEM organ BAM ( by any means. What I have to spoon feed this stuff to ya'?) . Any hWayyy, believe it or not on this day of September 30 2010, and not 1910 by the sounds of this music some poor guy has a get this:
Rodgers 321 Trio Theatre organ w/ seperate speaker cabinet. 3 manual. AGO 32 pedals. Walnut. Excellent condition. for onleeeeee 200 US clams!

@Figaropipeorgan Because 35 ranks is a very versatile specification? And I didn't make it, Neil Jensen did and I happen to like it. I'm certain that there's a way to do it well (others have) and I don't think there's any reason to upset oneself over it.

@tregnier279 What in the world would lead you to believe that 35 ranks has any place in any theatre pipe organ leave alone a three manual? Check the historic specifications on such instruments and come up with something relevant. 35 ranks converging as a resultant in anything less than a truckload of speakers would compromise definition and introduce significant harmonic distortion. A speaker cone doesn't have to be pushed with much before any additional ranks essentially fail to show up.

@wurlitzer60 I was considering buying a 340 equipped with midi, but I'm assuming it would not be possible to use the Neil Jensen sample set (3/35+percussions) with this organ without leaving anything out with extensively modifying the case (i.e. beyond adding new stop tabs and changing the extant ones if necessary)?
Perhaps this is an odd question, but with the entire stop rail(s) of this organ populated, how many stops would be able to fit? Would it be possible to add a second stop rail?

@tregnier279 You can't easily add a bottom row to the stop rail without some serious modification of the console shell. If you wanted to max out the existing rails, you can probably get 70 to 72 tabs around the main rail, the bottom row partials you can probably get in 12 to 14 and probably 34 or 35 in on the backrail.
