enjoy the sport fools. This guy is once in a lifetime bowler. Enjoy the way he has gotten the batsmen befuddled. I am from Bombay btw, get a life, there is a world beyond sachin, dravid and ganguly. This guy is fun to watch enjoy the sport and shut the hell up.

@sanju1777 I like your optimism! I think I remember Warne saying that a problem for Mendis is that his bowling doesn't really lend itself to deceiving batsmen in the air.

@77Fortran to be another murali,you have to learn a lot,work hard and bring variations in your bowling.i got your point dear..mendis has to travel a long distance to reach near to murali.he seems to have lost his focus and form..but he has plenty of time to get back .

@Manuscript4 Yeah I so agree with that. No doubt he has accuracy, but he does not spin the ball a lot. Just hit the deliveries with a horizontal bat, but what do I know, I am the worst batsman lol

I don't understand the problem that batsmen seem to have with him. It doesn't matter which delivery he's bowling, because there's so little spin on the ball that none of them turn anyway. I'd just twat his every ball over the ropes and be done with it.

I am an indian, we must be ready to accept the talent without looking at the country , religion and colour. ..mendis is a good bowler now..and sure he will be the next greatest after murali. vvs laxman is a great test player and even shane warne was not able to trouble him a lot.ajantha mendis bowled so well in that series and the indians were clueless except sehwag..it's a fact..
