MONUMENTS - The Uncollective (Drum Cover)

Here is my entry for the Monuments Uncollective cover contest thingy.
I wanted to record this track for ages but never had the right software; until a few days before the contest went online. Perfect opportunity to test this stuff.

Went a little nuts on the camera work (new camera) and it's a little sloppy here and there but you get the idea.

The drum sound on itself is pretty shitty but since it's my first time working with this stuff I hope to record and improve a lot so I can upload some moar tracks.

nice job man! This is a really fun song to play, i found the bass drum patterns in the verse(if thats what it is?) a real bitch to get right! That new camera is sick. I'm hoping to get one with a relatively decent mic that doesn't peak on the cymbals so i don't have to record my drums properly with mics. Anyways, good luck and merry christmas :)

@thalldrums thanks a lot man, appreciated it. It is indeed a very fun but pain in the ass track. And yeah still got some work to do in the verses after seeing your video ;) The song really thought me a new way of using cymbal within rhythms to make things groove a lot more! Happy holidays man!

Kinda sloppy, the chorus was pretty good though, awesome video & mixing quality. Saw your Fellsilent covers a while ago, they were great!
