  • maybe i didn't make it clear to all those super fast glass installers ITS A DEMONSTRATION VIDEO my goodness grow up . less see ya'lls wonderful video clips of a install .

  • way to much time if you want to make any real money, speed comes with experience ,this is a 20 minute job for me,but i have 22 years under my belt (thats priming cowl off done properly),do things at your own speed, keep youself doing things proper, good habit forming, the speed will come in time and you will be doing things correctly,I hate hackers myself, ins companies call me for messes to clean up in my area, you should see some of the crap hackers do to peoples cars!

  • @101splasher Mr splasher the video is about procedure my friend not speed or how sloppy you can quik put a window lite in . i pride my self in speed and i to can do most window lites in 15 to 25 min . so my reply to you would be wheres your video at less see how you'd do it these steps are crucial in a glass competition . how do i know you might ask i'v been in 2 of the competitions my self . look it up these are AGRSS GUIDE LINES AND REGULATIONS // i'll be waiting to see your video . lol ...

  • I havent gotten any leakers out of about 20 jobs per day, the april 27th tornadoes were extremely devastating and victoms are in my prayers, but we are still getting buisness from cars that had been damaged during the storm, if it was'nt for that it would only be about 7 jobs per day, for about 25 years our family owned glass shop did work for all of north alabama, my dad even did work out of state, in the past five years other glass shop have taken away our buisness. P.S. Safelight is shit.

  • @flubber342 its only a ddemonstration of steps and procedure . if you any thing about real installation and AGRSS RULES you would know this and not make insensitive comments but like i told the other guy God bless you and let us see your video ....

  • The wipers are on backwards. Some dumb-ass said he could have this windshield installed in the 4-6 min time! Please go back to mcdonalds for work where they want you to do quick work. A windshield like this 1218 should be around 45 min or more. There is no short cut to safety. Hacks should quit. And properly done water leaks don't happen. I employ four techs and in the last nine years we've had 3 leaks. We see many leaks traced to poor windshield hackers that brag about a 20 min job.

  • @Haffo2112 they where like that before and i agree its always better when you taake your time and not rush thru a install // of you got company's out there that pay installers on commision you that read this and take offense this means you ... lol

  • @101splasher So you can do a pre-inspection, prep the glass, remove all trim, cowl and wipers, remove the pinchweld dirt and debris, remove the windshield, full cut the existing bead of urethane down to 1 to 2 mm, clean the pinchweld, prime the scratched areas, let the primer flash, run the urethane bead, set the glass, put everything back and do ALL this in 20 min? you are the hack and just in it for the money, not customer satisfaction and safety.

  • It's good to see someone takes the time and effort to protect the customers car. Keep up the good work mate.

  • @Haffo2112 also we usually have two poelpe working on one windshield, so that would explain how fast we get it done when multitasking.

  • @Haffo2112 here in the south it is hot and humid, therefore you know our environment, and 10 minutes? maby for the primer around the frame, but you set the windshield on top of that, then the primer on the windshield itself takes about 5 minutes, it eats into the window so therefore it should not run out of it groove, and what are you talking about steralizing, I wear latex gloves when working.

  • @flubber342 maybe you misunderstood. About 45min to do the job Primer is ten min or more depending on environment and add activator before on the pinchweld to sterilize is another 3 min after application. Yes after my roughly 45 min the customer waits an additional hour for SDAT when we use SIKA MOVE and two or more hours when using cool depending on Temp.. no matter how you slice it, 20 min or less is not the proper way nor gives proper time for primer and activator flash. Sorry flubber342
