I might take this down - I have to see if it's a good video. Just some theories.

  • everything that is "true" isnt good. How do we define "good"?

  • @Xone7 I know, I got a little sloppy - I know I've defined "good" somewhere (don't know which video) - what I mean to say is that the ethical choice is usually also the "good" choice. anyways - I'll revisit that.

  • It is mind blowing to me that someone could have the same ideas on religion as I do.

Since I'm so young, no one takes what I have to say on this particular topic. It is absolutely astounding to me that I'm not alone in how I think.

  • in your argument with ur mom where you say "religious people are more likely to be religious the less they know about religion and the stupider you are, as you become older, learn more about religion, the less likely you are to be religious," are you saying that applies to all religions or just Christianity?

  • Hey don't take this the wrong way, you really have a lot of knowledge and I learn a lot from you...But I think your videos aren't structured good enough. Like your talkin about one thing then suddenly switch over to something else, goin left right up and down, ya everywhere haha. Adhd maybe haha, I pulled ya leg a bit it aint that bad just wanted 2 let you know. You're one of my fav youtubers

  • @marcdaddy33

You didn't even counter problem of evil, and neither problem of free will. You just said that you can do that without even saying how you can do that.

  • @marcdaddy33

You didn't get my point. It doesn't mater which religion did get most prophecies correct. Point was that most of them have prophecies and some of them came true. Of course prophecies are vague, even in bible. Most interesting one was in maya (or aztec not sure atm), did prophecie their own demise. Ironically it happened almost exactly when it was bound to happen according their propechy.

All religions use their prophecies, miracles, feelings, personal experience as proof.

  • @ Tespri part 3

So yes Tespri... I will call your bluff. DEMONSTRATE to me how you "investigated" all of religions beliefs and their prophecies and show me how they are the same as the prophecies of the Bible. Additionally, show me how the Biblical prophecies are false.

I'm not even talking about the prophecies about earthquakes, wars, famines in the least days. I'm speaking about Bible's prophecies about the RISE and FALL of nations that weren't in existence when they were written.

  • @ Tespri part 2

You won't however, because like the typical atheist, you guys really don't care about seeking truth. You guys TALK about how you gyys "looked at all the theistic evidences and found them wanting" but really you made NO investigation at all. You ONLY look at the arguments by theists who don't read the Bible. You guys prefer to intimidate theists who BARELY have a conception of their own Biblical beliefs (let alone philosophy/science) via mockery.

  • @Tespri

"I can bet that pretty much every "evidence" you have, is the same they would've for their religion."

    ---

I'll be your Huckleberry. Let's stack up prophecies of whatever other religion you wish vs. the prophecies of the Bible (specifically the prophecies of Daniel chapters 2-9 and comparing them to Revelations 11, 12, 13, 17, and 18). Let then look at how those prophecies stack with the historical record.

Then let us see if ANY of your religious prophecies compare 2 The Bible

  • @marcdaddy33

What kind of evidences should I accept? Well logical ones, ones that can be trusted in eye of outsider. Think it like court trial. Try giving something else than other religions offer too. If you don't know their "evidences" then try study them bit. I can bet that pretty much every "evidence" you have, is the same they would've for their religion.

  • @marcdaddy33

Did you even bother to read my reply?

Also what comes to "evidences" against god... You should know that burden of proof is on the one who claims positive. None of us knew god of the bible before someone told us. Which means that one who tells us that god exists, needs to give solid proofs for god.

/watch?v=Joe2-V5pMG4 This should give prety solid answer to all prophecy claims... Don't forget that other religions have had their prophecies to come "true"
