Can somebody explain why they wait until after the hornet has released the pheromone inside the nest?

Or did it not release it?

It seems to me like it kind of defeats the purpose if the other hornets will find it anyways.

The same action is done. After the temperature goes up. When Japanese bee's sacrifice(Suicide attack) or the enemy(Giant Hornet ) puts out pheromone again, the chance .
