Capella and the ferocious tropical storm

This is a time lapse video of a tropical storm occuring in Cairns, Australia, on the night of 15/16 Feb 2009. The video comprises 71 x 15 sec images taken with a Canon 20Da and a 14 mm lens with a 15 sec gap between each frame: total time is 35.5 min. The "highlight" of the video is the rising column of cumulo-nimbus cloud self-illuminated by lightening within. Also, in the upper right, the star Capella, in the constellation Auriga, can be seen through a gap rising above and arching towards the ferocious storm.
