The first Red-tailed Hawk transported by Airporter Shuttle as part of the Sea-Tac Airport Raptor Management Program. September 8, 2011. The hand-made "hawk hood" calms the bird and puts it into a dream state. The hawk was captured by Steve Osmek and staff at Sea-Tac Airport, transported north on Airporter Shuttle, met in Burlington WA by Bud Anderson of the Falcon Research Group, measured and banded, and released in the beautiful Samish Flats wilderness in Skagit County.
