  • Well I think this is an amazing 'cover' and brings in a whole new audience for this prog masterpiece. Love Hackett's subtle textures - worth the entry ticket for the gig alone; Ian McDonalds's flute solo(s) are sheer perfection. Vocals and harmonies are spot on. So for me its a totally amazing performance and projects exactly what progressive rock is all about.

  • @RVCastel this was on Steve Hackett's 1996 tour, where he was supported by John Wetton and Ian McDonald. They played a lot of Genesis stuff and some KC as well :)

  • Never Heard this version before,,,, And I thought before I listened: hard to imagine this tune without Greg Lake... JW does an excellent cover though.... Not GL but I'm buying it! Thanks for the share =)

    Like the hacket influence in this too,,,, Any clue as to when the Video was shot? I'd assume a good deal more recently than 69

    the drummer is chester thompson who played with genesis when they went on tour from 1976/77 until the last tour in 2009
