A Slideshow of our flight from Qualicum Beach, along the coast of Vancouver Island, up to Comox Lake, and over to Comox Glacier. Great views of Mt. Washington Ski hills, then across to Port Alberni with views of the Alberni Inlet, then back past Mt Arrowsmith to Parksville and Qualicum again. Hope you enjoy it.

I'm talking about Comox....I have never been to Qualicum Beach...I moved here from Quebec two and a half years ago and havent made it there yet! :)

Well retirement town or not, we know this is a military base with a busy airport before we move here ;) I think it's great that young people are interested in more than running around at night damaging peoples' property and speeding up and down the road :) Hats off to all of you!

haha, definately, i was in qualicum though, doing the power scholarship, we were staying at comox where they do power though. Also, aperantly qualicum is a bit of i retirement town.

Don't worry about the noise you guys made from the tow planes....I live in Comox, and I found it fun to watch you guys!! Good luck to all of you...I'd much rather hear the tow planes than listen to teens running around our neighborhood at night yelling and screaming!!!

i was in qualicum beach just this summer getting my liscence with air cadets, i can't say the people from the town liked us much though :P they allways complained about the noise.

No, fortunately it wasn't this plane, but the one that is hangered beside this one...Almost exactly the same tho. Good eye!
