  • Cool, and here's what I see in the future: the entire tabletop as a monitor for the menu and game play, that way all people at the table can participate, instead of just the two closest to the monitor, and then they can turn off the display to have a normal meal without it glaring at them.

  • @vibrani Great vision! Microsoft is working on something like that for hotel lobbies.

I figured as much as I saw that Bill Gates has such a system in his own kitchen at home. A way to project the cookbook onto the countertop, so I thought that would be perfect in a restaurant, too. Thanks!

  • @vibrani cool!

  • I saw this at JFK 2-3 years ago at the JetBlue area, so, what is new about this system???

  • @drpad It was probably using this technology. Did you get a chance to use it when you were there?

  • yeah, some thing happened to chimmney sweeps.

some commiepinkoliberal invented the gas furnace and boom - 80 years later the chimmney sweeps are out of a job, just like that.

  • Well, I think this is a bit exxagerated... no waiting time? I bet customers still have to wait for their food... and no waitresses? Then, how do customers get their food, and how do they pay? But all in all, still a good idea...

  • fuck. that's my idea smh

  • @NanoLopez2 This mindset is illogical, because the servers would rather be doing something else. If we can eliminate problems, then why not? If the issue is money, it's quite sad to say that people need to waste their time, just so they can make a check, to buy the necessities of life. If most jobs were automated and we used a resource based economy, things would essentially be free. We have the technology to automate almost everything.

  • @PILMAN When technology replaces the majority of jobs, most things will drop in price so drastically, if not be entirely free...

  • This is so the future

  • The main problem with this tech is that it will HEAVILY reduce the time I spend talking to hot chicks. :(

  • @ISRAEL21cdotcom can this be comin to the u.s

  • watch?v=DJw-bWFSgdY for our 2000 implementation of the same idea.

  • How ridiculous !

  • @ISRAEL21cdotcom

This is used in Japan for many years
