Inhofe Speaks about the Lord's Resistance Army

U.S. Sen. Jim Inhofe spoke on the Senate floor about his support for the bipartisan effort to stop the Lord's Resistance Army (LRA) in Africa. He commended the Senate Foreign Relations Committee for passing S.1067, the Lords Resistance Army Disarmament and Northern Uganda Recovery Act, which will develop a viable path to disarm the LRA and provide humanitarian assistance to those in the region that have been victims of the devastation inflicted by the LRA.

If the air force has a surplus, GIVE IT BACK. It does not belong to them. If you are ignorant enough to ask "why not just spend surplus on something for another country" just look at the debt, We are bankrupt. enough said.

I defend myself better than the police. They only show up to put tape around the crime scene. I pay taxes to have police not show, not dump money in africa fool.

Your air force has already said they dont need the money that would have been taken as it came from the "second" surplus - they have over 100 million in surplus funds they have even said they do not need...so why not? so Drharris when bad things happen to you, dont bother calling the police, as bad things will happen !

I've been supporting Invisible Children (a program against the LRA) for almost a year now. This is horrible, what is happening, and it needs to be stopped. I'm glad that this is finally getting some attention, and hope that it continues!
