My New Gaming Computer - CBA changing, building in July '09 - New Components then

This will probably be my first and last computer as the price will kill me haha, im only 15. Also the components may change by the time i buy them, but i will definately buy that case! (I will post unboxing videos as soon as i can)

dude ur spending too much m8! Im getting practically the same componects as u r but ur spending waaaay too much. The Asus Striker II Extreme already comes with a descent sound card so uve saved urself a little bit of money there. I am getting what u r getting but with a bit more quality. U gotta think about accessories aswell like thermal paste and stuff. With everything what I am getting its going to be just over £1000

Are you sure you wanna go for liquid cooling if this is your first real build? If that sucker leaks you are good and F'd. You might want to go with a couple of the 300gb raptors in raid 0 and the Q9650 yorkshire quad core 2 extreme processor if you're going for gaming, which obviously you are ;-). Just my $0.02

Get the E8400 processor instead, it's almost the same power as the E8500 but you save a lot of money

Well the good news is that with the i7 out, the quad cores are gonna progressively cost less during this coming year. Probably slashed by half. So you can get one then.
