Video showing the new stack effect cooling design used in SilverStone Raven RV01 computer case. With help of a fog machine the airflow was made "visable". Part 1 shows the stack effect with running fans....check out part 2 to see amazing effect without fans!

  • one question can I add another 180mm fan to this case??

  • No, there is no space for additional fans.

What you can do for example is to exchange the fans with more powerful versions. We offer seperate other 180mm fans with manual fan controller or flashy LED's.

You can also create more airflow by using 5.25" cage with additional fan. We have a HDD cage for 5.25" bays with 120mm fan, called CFP51.

    The RV01 case offers 2x180mm and 1x120mm.

What do you like to cool with another fan? Case is concepted to offer airflow to all neccessary parts.

  • I wish this case had more airflow, I'd replace my Antec 1200 in a heartbeat. Out of cases I would die for, this is at the top of the list. Any Antec 1200 vs. Raven RV01 benches?

  • Normally more airflow is not needed, the RV01 can easily handle a full equipped system with 3 graphiccards for example. More airflow means also more noise and why get a loud case when the RV01 offers you the same result with lowest noise possible?

Actually I also do not know a comparison of these 2 cases, maybe someone els know a site?

  • Does it transform into a robot?

  • @Silverstonetech this or the tj07 for air

  • @neogambro HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!! WOW

  • ... Not to mention extremely shitty customer service from:

    Joel

    Silverstone Tech Inc,

    13626 Monte Vista Ave.

    Unit A

    Chino, CA 91710

    909 465 9596 Tel

    909 465 9569 Fax

He never got back to me about extra parts I wanted to buy (stuff that isn't listed on the site) when I was using this case. He just plain didn't reply to my email. Awesome job on the customer service guys!

  • @DATSlovely Maybe it's the fact that I need better cooling and airflow and threw this shitty case in the trash. Maybe you're pissed off cos you bought it and you found out the hard way that it sucked. Or maybe you have a low-end computer and can cool with only a desk fan. If I'm a "retarded baby" for wanting to run Nvidia SLI and keep them relatively cool, then so be it. I switched back to my old Lian Li Red Armor Suit and my cards idle around 37 degrees C. Hows that for airflow?

  • @neogambro maybe its just you. what kind of retarded baby gets UNFINISHED nvidia tech that constantly goes up to 100 degrees?

    GG.

  • @nascasho antec cases are crap, get this case, it relies on the fact that heat naturally rises, you dont need much airflow for this case cause all the hot air rises by itself

  • Only thing missing is the hole for CPU cooler bracet

  • @Silverstonetech Of course the video shows the case with minimal hardware connected. Try doing this with 2 GTX480's in SLI w/all cables connected, complete with 6 Sata drives, cables and an EATX mobo. I have this case and I am disappointed with the airflow. I was getting way lower temps on my old Lian Li. If you do SLI, don't buy this case.

  • I wish this case was made more in metal instead of plastic, had a hole for CPU cooler and removable mobo tray. If it had those things I would buy this becuse I think the rotation of the mobo area with 90 degree is genius idea.
