If this series allows for a piece of glass to be more durable and capable than an iPod as well as homing missiles that are not only unmanned, but also shoot guided laser beams, I think the time period would allows for the tires of motorcycles to handle rough terrain relatively better than present day.

Gorgeous animation, this is spot on except for couple of minor flaws. The animation team should have taken into account the post apocalyptic rough terrain because no matter what universe or century this was set in a two-wheel can never have such a smooth run on that terrain. If they had shown the bike wobbling, it would have been more realistic. Also another minor flaw is when the character releases the throttle to pull out the blade, the bike doesn't seem/sound to be slowing down?
