New Martin D15M

Just got this guitar from Schoolhouse Music Friday. I was the first to play it and the tone and power blew me away.
It's the first Martin dreadnought with a mahogany top I've ever played.
Someone is running a leaf blower in the background at the end, but you can hear its tone.

I mentioned in an earlier response... I use a rubber band tied through a hole in the pick to my index finger, so I can switch from fingerstyle to using a pick. There are songs where I might strum the chorus but use fingerstyle for the verse. In this short demo, I use bare fingers for the first part...and switch to a pick at the end.

If you played other Martins or solid wood guitars, you would have an even better appreciation for this one. The combination of the A frame X bracing and the solid mahogany top in dreadnought is a great combination.

No, the neck width is 1 11/16".
