The fourth piece in "Children's Corner". And the by *far* most difficult IMHO. It is for my fingers one of the most tricky of Debussy's pieces in a smaller scale, comparable to the more difficult Preludes. The music depicts whirling snow. I felt tempted to add some winter pictures, but since snow is difficult to visualize in a photo I show some ice sculptures from last winter.
The tempo I chose is in the lower range, and possibly it could be played slower yet. (Many play this faster, which I think destroys the "cold and snowy" atmosphere.
