In the Japaneses version Green is a guy and Blue is a girl. But In the English version Blue is a guy and Green's the girl.

@Thifer20 She's Leaf in Firered/Leafgreen... for some people, at least. In the original Japanese manga though, she was Blue, and "Gary" was Green. They switched the names for some reason in the English translation, but that manga was still long before Firered/Leafgreen and Blue/Leaf's official game debut.

@mizuru1993 oy, don't you think if it WAS an anime, they'd have watered it down a bit & changed the events to fit into 30 min intervals? & a few scenes would never've made it in, like blues 'sneak attack' in the sliph co. building.

Well, not exactly. Ash is just the couterpart of Red and Green(guy) is the couterpart of Gary. The anime characters are just loosely based on these characters. However, their personailties are different, especially as the seasons/sagas pass.

This was based on a manga called "Pokemon Special" so screw all the anime names.
