From the two-part version that was edited for syndication, this is the 30-second Pre-Title Teaser Trailer from Part 1 of the original two-hour 'Pilot' episode.

"STINGRAY" was an action/crime drama/detective series that ran from 1985 to 1987, on NBC in the United States, then later in the UK on the leading satellite and cable channel SKY One. The show starred Nick Mancuso (of "Under Siege" and "Under Siege 2: Dark Territory" fame), and was created by Stephen J. Cannell (of "The A-Team" and "The Rockford Files").

Guest stars include:

Gregory Sierra (Lieutenant Lou Rodriguez in the 1st Season of NBC's "Miami Vice" and The Captain in "Hot Shots: Part Deux")

Robyn Douglass (Jamie Hamilton in ABC's "Galatica 1980", and who also returned as her "Stingray" character, Assistant District Attorney Daphne Delgado, in the 1st Season episode 'Orange Blossom')

and Ramon Franco (Private Alberto Ruiz in CBS's "Tour of Duty"). This would be the first connection between "STINGRAY" and "TOUR OF DUTY", as Franco's fellow co-star in the latter, Miguel A. Nunez, Jr., would guest-star in the 2nd Season episode 'Blood Money'.
