whatz the big deal. there r planty of people getting tickets from nyc, n all over the place. people like us have to go through department of finance n fight the ticket or just have to pay the fine. so why don't councilman do the same thing?! Gees what a world to live in...

Is Mr. Halloran trying to show off his power? I noticed myself something is not right, too. Mr. Halloran had a photo of a lady with something on her hand. Where is the recording or the photo of officer, acting abnormal by the funeral service at the time? Didn't anyone call the police? If the director was a former NYPD,why didn't he do anything about it? Was he afraid of an officer or was it a favor from Mr.Halloran...Haha

Yeah, I felt the same way for the officer. Mr.Halloran seem to be making a big deal out of this because officer gave him a ticket. So what if officer gave him a ticket. Officer was doing his job. By the way, how did he (Halloran) have a photo of a lady holding a pump? doesn't it look weird? Even for media, how they know for sure if that's true and making such a report on the news? why didn't they interview officer chu? Couldn't they notice there was something else behind? such a cruel reality.

NYC councilmen are not exempted from parking tickets.
Yes, Mr. Halloran, Your status may be higher than the Asian traffic cop, Chu, you may say. But, don't forget. Your status is UNDER the Mayor, the President, and the God. Office Chu, keep your head up. I believe God is WITH you.

In my personal opioion, the point here is;
HALLORAN (NYC COUNCILMAN); I DON'T LIKE YOUR ATTITIDE.
however, officer chu (lowly asian traffic cop); so what, I am doing my duty.

Yeah..I feel sorry for the officer. In reality, who has more power actully matters. By the way, where is the proof of officer driving,blowing and speeding and all that?how come they didn't show it. Personally the recording part of officer writing a ticket and photo of an officer holding a coffee on his hand..the statement of what council said about officer..doesn't seem to match. Why am I having trouble understanding this part? Is there something else? Anyway, I wish you a good luck officer.

The difference between people like myself and city council is I'm just an ordinary person and council is not. Trust me. The city or media doesn't care if i get a ticket. but why is it a big deal for a council. If they parked wrong and violated the law, they should get a ticket as well. I think officer was a brave man who knows what was wrong and did the right thing. I personally want to say to officer " you know it wasn't easy, but you did the right thing. Cheer up and fight for your rights"
