  • one of my favourites since I was 4....

  • Marlin Hurt, the vocalist who sang the "Got the world in a jug, Lord" part, later became well known as "Beulah" on "THE JOHNSON'S WAX PROGRAM WITH FIBBER McGEE AND MOLLY" in the early '40s, then on his own program, until his death in 1946. Incidentally, Frank Trumbauer is the lead vocalist here...

  • Oh sisters, any chance I can meet any of your daughters (they must be my age) for a review-session?

  • As always, great music, visuals, and SOUND QUALITY (The neighbors are complaining that there's a band practicing in my place!)

  • Oh brother!!! A grand band, as usual, bu the display of liturgical outerwear is really wonderful. I think I recognized a few that wrapped me on the knuckles with a ruler. Thanks for this. Ed.
