@3NUNS @Earthshake100 This is a piece. To me, a piece is something akin to a painting as well written words. The only difference is that its colors and its words are expressed through sound. For me a song requires lyrics whereas a piece, such as this, can express its emotions and visuals without saying a word.

@Earthshake100 : Dear friend. In many ways every classical composition is a 'song'. But it is very important to at least call this either a composition or a dance movement. But a song is to be sung, is it not !

@3NUNS I KNOW! my teacher told me. we are playing Op. 46. This song was so popular that peopled demanded it was made for concert band as well, so a concert band version was made!
