Again, meet my dear friend DICKEN or Jeffrey Pain from Oxford, from the beginning member in the 70s Mr Big, had a world wide hit with ROMEO and made 2 wonderful albums, Sweet Silence, Photographic Smile, toured round the world with famous bands like QUEEN; Tom Petty&The Hearbreakers, Journey Kansas etc. After the third album of Seppuko the band splits and DICKEN formed a new great band called BROKEN HOME, meet this band in their tribute to John Lennon, SHOT DOWN, taken from the bands second album "Life".
John Lennon was an English rock musician who gained worldwide fame as one of the founders of The Beatles, for his subsequent solo career, and for his political activism. He was shot by Mark David Chapman at the entrance of the building where he lived, The Dakota, in New York City, on Monday, 8 December 1980; Lennon had just returned from the Record Plant Studio with his wife, Yoko Ono.
Lennon was pronounced dead on arrival at St. Luke's-Roosevelt Hospital Center, where it was stated that nobody could have lived for more than a few minutes after sustaining such injuries. Shortly after local news stations reported Lennon's death, crowds gathered at Roosevelt Hospital and in front of The Dakota. He was cremated on 10 December 1980, at the Ferncliff Cemetery in Hartsdale, New York; the ashes were given to Ono, who chose not to hold a funeral for him.The videos is tryin to shows some pics from the last day of John Lennons life. This is maybe one of my best videos, maybe the best.

Hi Micke. I don't reckon all this anger over some other band taking the name is worth the time because who gives? Jeff's music is far better than the American band's anyway and it seems unlikely that it would have hurt his sales.
This song is great. It is so Lennonesque and very fitting, like the last music John was making.
Your video is superb as usual. I remember this and dug it very much the first time as well.
All the best
